Website, app, AR, VR: no-code boosts the adoption of powerful technologies

No-code tools offer creatives and businesses new possibilities; whether it is to create apps, access new technologies or develop new strategies. Implementing powerful technologies and accelerating its adaptation to transform your ideas and businesses.

No-code is revolutionizing computer science and its adaptation, although it is not specifically new, automation has become highly important in organizations. Businesses and industries have been tested in the past year, and those who have successfully pulled ahead were those that quickly adapted and embraced new technologies.

Some companies had a more seamless transition into these new tools, like those who were already somewhat involved in the tech world and well equipped for this transformation.

We saw a rise of innovative solutions from no-code platforms, these tools have been lowering barriers and offering a stoop into digitalization. No code is revolutionizing the development field and is paving the path to digital transformation in the future.

It is only recently that industries have started to notice the possibilities and advantages these tools have to offer for their business. Adopting new technologies is a way of problem-solving that requires new capabilities. No-code offers collaboration options between employees and companies, and it forces workers to innovate their work methods, plus it adds a long term impact on their business.

No-code is not new!

but maybe you know them with other names

No-code tools that are well known and have been around for a long time like Wix, WordPress, SquareSpace and Webflow are tools that help you design websites.

These no codes were very impactful in the tech ecosystem, they translated an idea into something that people can use. Now, there are many no codes allowing for creative solutions to be built without writing code.

Companies like Bubble were some of the first to launch a no code in 2012 when it was then known as visual programming. After 5 years of development, they became more visible. Now one of the increasingly important actors in the sector strongly focuses on web app creation, of websites like Airbnb or Twitter.

This is a broadly open tool, therefore comes with its challenges. It's different from other web tools since it can make a stronger hypothesis on what the users want to build, which opens the door for complexity that they need to handle and adapt in these situations.

Another main focus for this company is to educate people to use the tool, it also comes with challenges in the same way as the development, since it is important to support users and accompany them in fixing mistakes with tutorials, or with companies like Contournement.

No-code doesn't mean any training

Although no codes are simpler tools to use, that doesn't mean it is easy. No-code can profit your business if you know how to use and apply them to your area. Therefore it is important to know how to implement these tools into your work to optimize performance and results.

Here to help you are training companies that help you deduct what tools are the best for you to use based on what you need to do, and how to use them. For example, Contournement is a company that focuses on training people to free them from technical obstacles and barriers. This helps them achieve their projects specifically when they don't have the technical skills needed to create websites, apps or web apps.

They are also automating tasks that have an important role in gaining productivity. Contournement also provides organized paid training sessions that can last from 1 to 3 days. These trainings are focused on accessible tools since are more complex.

Co-founder Erwan Kezzar distinguishes this as an important advantage that helps create a network effect where people can support each other, which is evident in the increase of users.

Training companies are here to help and guide users but most importantly educate them so they will be able to create projects that will take them to the next level in their business and help them gain productivity.

No-code doesn’t mean it’s easy,

it means it’s easier to do more complicated things

No code tools are easier to use and learn however, that doesn't mean it is exactly easy. They help you build complex tools that will let you create anything you can imagine, and share it with your audience. Hiring software developers is expensive and a long process but no-code software can help those who are not technical, complete projects that otherwise require developers. Agencies like Alegria Tech provide services in terms of no-code solution software, to create mobile web apps, automation, and internal/external and a diverse range of solutions. It allows large companies but also SMEs to enhance their digital transformation.

Then some companies can help you optimize a very important area in your business that will fundamentally define your success, and that is your strategy.

Companies like Comovert supports start-ups and more companies on digital strategy with no-code tools while also doing training courses in schools to educate younger generations on these subjects.

To create something, share, and deliver it in the way you want while creating an impact, it is fundamental that you know how to do that. A project can be amazing but if you don't have the right strategy you will never get the visibility or profitability you want. Solid strategies are important now more than ever for future companies. Comovert is strongly aware of this and they want to start spreading knowledge on the subject to future generations.

No-code tools creating access to new technologies

Every day when you are trying to come up with ideas to create projects you think of apps or platforms you could use that maybe don't exist. Now, many innovators have come up with tools that give you access to technologies that you might have thought you could never use because you don't have the skills or budget to build it yourself.

Like Minsar, giving access to complex technologies that are hardly affordable specifically in the fields of augmented and virtual reality. Minsar's main goal is to make creation and experience distribution in AR & VR accessible. CEO Soraya Jaber was invited to the No Code Family podcast for a special episode on this topic. Where she talks to Simon Robic about her first-ever experiences with no code, Minsar, the importance of diversity, inclusion and bringing this accessibility to everyone.

"I think 'Tomorrow, everyone no codder' is also an opportunity to bring more inclusion and diversity in new technologies. We don't talk about this enough but there's only 0.3% of the population who knows how to code of which 70% are men and 80% are white... there should be more feminine codders and more accessible solutions that will allow for more diversity, inclusion and software that better represent our humanity."

Minsar not unlike the previous no-code platforms mentioned comes with its own set of challenges. Technological, but also of use since AR and VR are emerging sectors, it's important to focus on the practices related to both AR and VR.

These types of no-code take more time to develop, the goal is to accelerate the adoption of these technologies and to give a chance for relevance and interests in terms of business that are maybe not evident at the moment.

Although no code has been around for some time, even if it was previously known by another name. The emersion of no code has been a very big topic in the past year and with COVID to thank it has pushed visibility further, which we can see is already resulting in the explosion of these tools and will likely increase throughout 2021. With them being more and more numerous in the past years, the desire people have when they don't have the technical skills are evident. More discussions and creations started coming up, training sessions started taking place, and agencies were launched.

No-code's are cheaper to use, faster and are customized. They empower the users, giving power back to non-technical people so they can adapt these tools to their area. Offer infinite possibilities to create while enabling their businesses to increase innovation and customer equity.
